About

‘earthsongs’ was launched in February 2020 with a collection of 35 designs and 300 pieces at the prestigious Dastkar exhibition at Delhi.

We were thrilled to receive a very encouraging response resulting in brisk sales.

Our first collection was only possible with support of team Malkha (Hyderabad) where we bought our base Khaadi fabrics. The master artisan-designer Khalid Usman Khatri (Kutch, Gujarat) then worked his magic on the fabrics using hand-block printing technique of Ajrakh. The cutting and stitching was done in Bangalore by our master/tailor Akbar and his team.

meet the founder

Anuja Siddarth Goel, a graduate in Fashion Design from NIFT-Gandhinagar (Batch of 1999–2002), is an experienced designer with a keen eye for aesthetics. She creates garments with elegant silhouettes and clean lines that are not only stylish but also deeply comfortable to wear. Beyond design, Anuja is dedicated to empowering artisan communities. She teaches the elements of fashion design to craftspeople in western India, equipping them with modern technical knowledge to enrich their traditional practices. Her initiative has inspired and enabled the younger generation to embrace their cultural crafts as viable and meaningful vocations.

crafting with care

At Earthsongs, craftsmanship is not just a process; it's a meditation. We collaborate directly with artisan communities who have perfected their techniques over generations. From the gentle hand-spinning of cotton and silk to the intricate art of natural dyeing using botanical extracts, every step is infused with intention and respect for both material and maker.

Our garments are not mass-produced; they are lovingly handcrafted, bearing the unique touch of human hands. This dedication to slow, mindful production ensures exceptional quality, unparalleled comfort, and a deeper connection to the stories behind your clothes.
